There are also allegations of smuggling of body parts.

Kolkata. In Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, dead bodies were dissected without the permission of relatives and police. All this was done on the orders of the then principal of the hospital, Dr. Sandeep Ghosh, who is currently in jail in a case of cruelty to a junior doctor and financial irregularities. Somnath Das, former head of the hospital’s forensic medicine department, has made this allegation.
Somnath said that when he protested against this, he was transferred to another hospital. Some victims including Prashant Das have also alleged that the bodies of their relatives were dissected without their and the police’s permission.
There are also allegations of organ trafficking
Let us tell you that the former deputy superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Akhtar Ali, has also accused Sandeep Ghosh of smuggling of body parts. The CBI, which is investigating the case of brutality with the female doctor, has prepared a report on the different interpretations of the three doctors who conducted the postmortem of the victim’s body.
Each doctor has interpreted the aspects mentioned in the report about the external and internal injuries on the victim’s body differently. According to sources, the report along with the examination report of various samples taken from the deceased’s body has been sent to the experts. The central agency is awaiting the experts’ report.
Questions raised regarding post mortem report
Let us tell you that many questions have been raised regarding the postmortem. Many rules were not followed. The videography of the postmortem is not clear. Dr. Apurba Biswas, the chairman of the postmortem investigation committee, refused to say anything about the report. Kolkata Municipal Corporation has also sent a notice to Sandeep Ghosh regarding illegal construction of a part of his house.
CBI found flaws in the investigation report
The CBI has found serious flaws in the investigation report in the doctor rape case. Sources said that the magistrate’s report mentioned that he got only 20 minutes to examine the victim’s body, which is unusually short considering the gravity of the case. Investigating officers believe that unnecessary haste was adopted in preparing the investigation report. The report lacked detailed mention and description of the wounds on the victim’s body.
